Month one, you set it up.
Every month after builds on it.

Here’s what your team actually does, from the first afternoon to the first board pack. Nothing goes on the record until someone on your team signs it off.

The financial foundation

Seven stages from your trial balance to a verified record.

  1. 01

    Upload your monthly trial balance

    Ingest

The first step: a CSV or Excel export from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or any ledger. Today it’s an export, so there’s no ledger access to grant and nothing for IT to set up. Direct connections are on the roadmap.

  2. 02

    Stack periods side by side

    Multi-period

Each new month lines up against the ones before, so you see what moved straight away.

  3. 03

Map each line to a standard chart of accounts

    Map to CoA

Struktürs suggests where each line belongs. You review and confirm before anything moves on.

  4. 04

    Keep your own structure

    Transition

Your chart stays as it is. A mapping links it to the standard one, and you can see every link.

  5. 05

    Check the balance sheet

    Review

Classifications are checked, and anything odd is shown to you rather than quietly absorbed.

  6. 06

    Fiscal indexing

    Index

The signed-off result is filed by period and versioned, so you can always go back to it.

  7. 07

    Verified foundation

    Vault

Confirmed, scored and locked. Everything else Struktürs does is built on this record.

// Nothing advances a stage until your team confirms it.

Five stages · one record

Every stage builds on the same signed-off record.

§ 01Your first afternoon

Finance Scaler · Ingestion

Your trial balance becomes verified, structured data.

Upload your trial balance and see, in minutes, how it scores on seven checks. Struktürs maps every line to a standard chart of accounts, and your team confirms each mapping before anything is signed off.

  • Seven-dimension verification score
  • Mapping to a standard chart of accounts
  • Only the lines that need a decision, in one queue
  • Filed by period, locked once signed off
§ 02Your first week

Working Papers · Ratios & Trends

The reviewed workpaper your auditor expects to see.

Every balance-sheet movement explained, with risks, notes and supporting papers attached. Ratios and trends sit alongside it: twelve periods of margin, liquidity and efficiency, with a bridge showing what drove each move. Ask “why” on any figure and get a cited answer.

  • Movement-by-movement variance commentary
  • Tied to the primary statement
  • EBITDA variance bridge with driver decomposition
  • Ask why on any figure, and see the sources
§ 03Every month, as it happens

Knowledge Scaler

Finance thinking becomes institutional knowledge.

You capture knowledge the same way you ask a question: in Ask Vault. Tell it what happened and Knowledge Scaler, working inside Ask Vault, asks the follow-up questions and drafts the retrospective, risk or decision. Each one is reviewed before it’s filed, and it stays when people move on.

  • Captured in Ask Vault, in the same conversation
  • Nothing is filed half-finished
  • Linked to the figures that prompted it
  • Vault Map shows how the reasoning connects
§ 04Whenever you ask

Ask Vault

Ask the business questions. Get cited answers.

One place to ask and to capture. Ask about a period, a figure or a decision in plain English, or tell it something worth keeping. Answers come from your signed-off numbers and your team’s articles, with their sources and how confident Struktürs is. If it can’t find a source, it says so. Each person only sees what they’re allowed to.

  • Sources on every answer it gives
  • Confidence level on every response
  • Each person sees only what their role allows
  • Read-only: it never changes your record
§ 05Once six periods are signed off

Board Packs

The verified record, drafted into a board narrative.

Drafted from your signed-off numbers and your team’s articles. The pack cites its sources. When the data isn’t good enough for the board, it tells you so instead of drafting around the gap.

  • Cites its sources
  • Stops when the data isn’t good enough
  • Free board seats (fair use) on Growth and Scale, so directors read it directly
  • On Growth and above

What the system remembers

Three things, and we will tell you exactly what they are.

“The AI learns” is not an answer a finance team can act on. Here is the specific list.

  1. 01

    Your chart-of-accounts decisions

Every mapping you confirm is recorded against the source line. Next period the same line arrives already resolved, labelled with the period the decision came from, and it still needs confirming.

Matched on account code first, then on name

  2. 02

What your team has already discussed

Each session is summarised when it closes and indexed by meaning, not keywords. Ask “what did we conclude about vendor margins?” and the right past conversation comes up, even if nobody used those words.

Search by meaning · run in London

  3. 03

    Where the rules were wrong

When you override a proposed mapping, the original suggestion is kept struck through beside your choice. The correction is the record; the disagreement stays auditable.

Your choice and the original suggestion, both kept

And what it does not

  • No model is trained on your data. Your corrections stay in your own project.
  • Nothing it learns is applied silently. A carried-over mapping is labelled and still needs a person to confirm it.
  • It doesn’t make up a figure you didn’t give it. If it can’t find a source for something, it tells you.

What opens up, and when

The longer your record, the more it can do.

You can always see how close you are to the next step, and the whole team moves up together.

  1. 01From month one

    Working analysis

Your first signed-off trial balance. Answers and analysis for your team, with their sources, that never block you.

  2. 02After three periods

    Operational intelligence

Three signed-off periods scoring 65 or more on average. Decision frameworks open, and answers compare across periods.

  3. 03After six periods

    Board-grade

Six signed-off periods scoring 72 or more. Board packs that cite their sources, and won’t draft what they can’t source.

After three signed-off periods

Tools for the questions that come back every quarter.

Once three periods are signed off, Struktürs can spot what moved and help your team work out why. Every tool is written and reviewed by our finance experts before it ships.

  • Signal investigations

When a number moves, a guided look at why.

Cash falling short of plan, margin moving the wrong way, a forecast that keeps missing. Each has a structured walkthrough your team works through, and the conclusion is signed off and filed with the figures that prompted it.

  • Decision frameworks

The right way to think it through.

A library of proven thinking tools, such as a premortem or first-principles review. When a signal fires, Struktürs suggests the one that fits the question. Your team decides whether to use it.

  • Knowledge templates

A shape for the work you already do.

Retrospectives, risk registers, plans, decisions and ideas. Start one from Ask Vault, or from any figure in the app, and Knowledge Scaler turns the conversation into a filed article, dated to its period. Nothing is filed until your team approves it.

Start with one trial balance.
Compound from there.

We’re working with a small group of finance teams first. The waitlist is open.
